Home Renovation in Chipping Norton
This renovation at 21 Aylesbury Crescent, Chipping Norton is one of our completed projects. It appears on our Our Projects page as “Old Bones. New Life.” Rather than knocking down, the existing two-storey home was kept and given a new look at the front and around the pool.
What changed
The before-and-after photos show how much a renovation can change an existing home:
- At the front: the home went from red-brick tones to a two-tone grey finish, with a carport across the front on grey columns.
- Around the pool: the old brick edging and fencing gave way to pale paving around the pool, frameless glass pool fencing and dark boundary fencing.
- Outdoor living: the after photos show a covered outdoor area beside the pool, with a ceiling fan, and a dark rendered structure at the side of the yard.

AfterThinking about renovating instead of rebuilding?
If the structure of your home is sound, a renovation can refresh the look of the house and make better use of outdoor areas without starting again. Some renovation work needs no planning approval, while other work, such as extensions, is approved as complying development or through a development application to council. We can help you work out what your project needs at a free consultation.
