Duplex in Sylvania

What was built

From the street, the images show two double-storey homes that mirror each other. The design features curved rendered roof and balcony edges, upstairs balconies with glass balustrades, arched windows, a stone-clad feature column, vertical battens, and a timber front door and garage door for each home.

Inside, the images show:

• open-plan living, dining and kitchen areas beneath a double-height void with pendant lights;
• a living area with a built-in fireplace, a timber battened TV wall and open shelving;
• a kitchen with timber-look cabinetry, a stone waterfall island and a stone splashback;
• a staircase with timber treads, a glass balustrade and built-in joinery under the stairs;
• a bedroom with sliding doors to a balcony and a built-in wardrobe;
• bathrooms with fluted glass shower screens, backlit mirrors and copper-toned tapware, one with a freestanding bath;
• at the rear, a covered alfresco with an outdoor kitchen and a pool for each home, with separate fenced backyards.
