Connells Point homes on the water
Connells Point is a small peninsula of houses on the Georges River, between Connells Bay and Oatley Bay. Nine in ten occupied homes were separate houses in the 2021 Census, and flats were almost absent.
The suburb has no railway station. Oatley Station on the T4 line is about a kilometre beyond its boundary.

- Acid sulfate soils: Class 1 acid sulfate soils cover close to three tenths of the suburb, with Class 2 and Class 5 land elsewhere.
- Foreshore area: Parts of the waterfront are mapped as foreshore area, which limits where new building work can go.
